An easy and delicious cranberry, apple, and orange sauce recipe. So good evening the picky eaters will eat!
Ingredients
-
1 bag, 12 oz Fresh or Frozen Cranberries
-
2 Apples (I used 1 Honeycrisp & 1 Granny Smith), peeled, cored, and quartered
-
1/2 Orange, cut stem end off, peel or unpeeled
-
1 cup Orange Juice
-
1 cup Sugar
Directions
Give your cranberries, apples, and orange, separately, a quick pulse in your blender or food processor then add to saucepan.
Add your orange juice and sugar to saucepan then cook on med-low to low heat.
Cook for 20-30 minutes until you get a jellyish consistency. You can gently mash the mixture to help break up the apples and cranberries while it cooks. Make sure to stir often.
If the mixture is bubbling too rapidly, turn down the heat and simmer until the desired consistency is reached.
Pour into serving or storage container, let cool and serve. You can also store in the fridge This can be made up to 3 days in advance.
Enjoy!
